Welcome to Traverse the Valley. Have you ever wanted to try a DontGetLost race, but you were nervous about navigating off-trail? This race is for you!

This unique race for DontGetLost is planned to be all on trail.

You will still need to navigate from point to point over the course, however for those who are less than confident in their navigational prowess, follow along with one of our trail bunnies!

RACE FORMAT

10km or 5km point to point race

This is a rough race distance depending on the route you choose. Don't be planning on PRing or an exact race distance, that's not the DGL way.

Racers will be bussed to the start line (location not announced until the day before race day) and make their way back to the finish line, using official Dundas Valley trails and their course map. There will be mandatory checkpoints along the way that participants must visit in the order shown on the race map.

Competitors must remain on official Dundas Valley trails. Official trails are easy to determine as they are wide enough for small vehicles to use and marked periodically with trail posts.

Participants found to have used unsanctioned trails or off-trail will be disqualified. The race course will be planned so that using illegal routes will in no case be the fastest or optimum choices.

Our race map will have all the useable trails highlighted with the same trail marker symbols that adorn the trail posts.
