For teachers and educators looking to expand on their curriculum, Adventure Running Kids Program Managers are now offering an number of options for schools.
VIRTUAL COURSES
Using the App, MapRunF, we can set up outdoor orienteering style courses, either in your school grounds or nearby parks that are run and timed using smart devices; iOS or Android.
They can be run multiple times, with multiple individuals at the same time and provides an online leader board once the course has successfully been completed.
They are completely virtual and touch free with no infrastructure required on the ground.
WINTER: INDOOR SCHOOL SESSIONS
We come in and take over your gym for the day!
Sessions can be run for multiple classes over the course of the day.

SPRING OR FALL: OUTDOOR SESSIONS
For outdoor sessions, we will prepare a 45 minute orienteering (navigation) style lesson.
We run these sessions in the closest existing mapped area to your school. We do not conduct outdoor sessions on school grounds, to truly teach navigation and map reading skills, participants to be in an unfamiliar area.
LOCATIONS
We are only able to run sessions in the following areas where we already own maps; Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Guelph, Niagara and Milton.
