As a not-for-profit organisation, Dontgetlost Adventure Running relies on volunteers for all of it's programming and races.
WE NEED YOU! For every race and program, we have a range of roles - from things anyone can handle to specialised roles in course planning.
High School Students
If you're a high school student looking for hours, we would LOVE to hear from you.
There are two main avenues to get some volunteers hours with Dontgetlost Adventure Running;
Adventure Running Kids (ARK)
ARK runs for 10 weeks in the Spring and Fall in in need of volunteers in all six locations; Hamilton, KW, Niagara, Guelph, Burlington and Oakville.
The main role that needs filling are Group Leaders. We assign 2-4 group leaders to every group (15 kids max). Group Leaders are responsible of keeping track of the kids, making sure the group stays together as needed and sometimes assisting in the running in some of the exercises.
Students do need some from of transport to get to the locations that we run ARK from. Check out the locations page to seewhere and when the program is running. If you see any locations you are interested in, email Jay@dontgetlost.ca to plan further.
All of our races require some kind of volunteer manpower:
