A message for everyone who deferred their registration 2020 to 2021

Firstly, we'd like to sincerely thank you for sticking with us through 2020. The early days of the pandemic was a scary time for us as an organisation and it was looking touch and go if we would survive. Having you stick with us and not instantly claiming your refund really did made a difference and we truly appreciate it.

Having said that, we have some unfortunate news. We've been in communication with the land managers of the race site and they have told us they are not hosting any groups on their land until all pandemic restrictions are fully lifted. Based on that we are cancelling the event for 2021.

So where does that leave you? Like last time, we have a number of options for you:

  1. Defer your registration to 2022. We are definitely confident we will be running again next year. If you choose this option, once we have a date and location confirmed, we will give you priority registration to sign up free of charge. If the new date does not work for you, you can change your choice either of the next two options.

  2. Consider your entry fee as a donation to Dontgetlost Adventure Running. If you go this option, many thanks.

  3. Claim a refund. This gets a little tricky this time. We suspect there are a number of you that paid with a credit card that is now expired. We can still put a refund through, but our system doesn't tell us if the card is expired or not. If this happens, you won't get a refund on your end, you'll have to call your credit card company with the refund receipt. We don't want you to go through that, so we will mail out cheques instead. If you go this option, we will follow up via email to confirm your mailing address.

Please let us know of your choice on the following form:

It will be live for one week, closing at midnight on Tuesday the 2nd of March. After this date we will consider all remaining registrations under option #2.

It's time to Get Muddy!

This unique DontGetLost event will provide a fun and muddy race for kids 14 and under. This course is all on marked trails with a big variety of terrain; hills, stream crossings and a fast finish through the orchard!

You do not need to be a participant of Adventure Running Kids to take part, you just have to be keen to run some trails and get a little muddy.

Parents are welcome to run alongside their kids, but it is NOT compulsory. In fact, we encourage parents to let kids to do this by themselves (within reason!).

The CUMIS Group Lands, 151 North Service Rd, Burlington, Ontario

No pets permitted.

All age classes are capped. Once the race sells out there is no wait list.

includes park entry, timing chip, post race snacks, finisher medal and HST

There is no fee for parents who wish to run with their kids, but you still need to sign up and there is a cap of 40 parents per race.

There is a separate option for parents on the registration form.
