RAID THE CITY ADVENTURE RUN
SUMMER, 2025 (HAMILTON, ON)
A 3-hour OR 90 minute race for teams of two with navigation by map across the Steel City. Want to use your GPS watch, your phone, a compass to help get around? Go for it - anything goes for this race as long as you do it on foot. No Uber, no bus, no SOBI bike.
Competitors travel to checkpoints located throughout the city; trail, road, alleyway, park - there will be a bit of everything. Go as hard or as easy as you like! Checkpoints (CPs) are rated on their difficulty and are assigned different point values.

REQUIRED GEAR
Smart phone; we will be using an app, Goosechase Adventures, to track teams as they visit checkpoints, so a smartphone that can hold enough juice for three hours is mandatory. It is possible to use multiple phones if battery life is a concern. Data use is minimal.
There will be no aid stations on this race, teams must carry all the sustenance they need for three hours. The city is full of 'aid stations', so taking cash or a credit card to pick up water or carbs on the go is recommended.
RULES
Teams must stay within visual sight and be able to verbally communicate with each other at all times. All normal road rules must be followed and teams may not enter private property.
Teams must have their race number visible at all times.
AWARDS & PRIZES
Awards will be given to the first place team in all categories and to the top 3 teams in all categories with at least 10 entries. We also have lots of draw prizes from our sponsors.
