SNOWSHOE RAID ADVENTURE RUN

(BLUE MOUNTAIN, ON)
A 3-hour snowshoe race for teams of two with navigation by map and compass.
Competitors travel on and off-trail to checkpoints located throughout the Blue
Mountains escarpment studded forests and parklands. Go as hard or as easy as
you like! Checkpoints (CPs) are rated on their difficulty and are assigned different
point values. The more CP's and points collected the higher you'll rank!

Blue Mountain Resort, Collingwood, Ontario
Directions: Registration and Race Kit Pick-Up will take place in the main Village at
Blue Mountain Resort at Grand Central Lodge.

*no pets permitted at race headquarters or on course.
Teams of 2 (Coed, Male, Female, Masters Coed, Masters Male, Masters Female, Super Masters, Family, Juniors).
Ages are teammate ages as of Dec. 31, 2020.
Masters teams must have a combined age of 90 or over.
Super Masters teams must have a combined age of 120 or over.
Family teams consist of one parent and one child (<= 13).
Junior teams have both team members between the ages of 14 and 18.
RULES & REQUIRED GEAR
Race Kit Pick-up: 8:30 - 9:45am (Pre-marked maps distributed with race kits)
Race Briefing: 10:00am - 10:10am
Teams Walk to Bus Pick-Up Location (1km walk): 10:10am - 10:30am
Buses drive to Start Area: 10:30am - 10:50am
Race Start: 11:00am
Course Cut-Off: 2:00pm (or 3 hours after the race begins)
Buses drive participants from Finish back to Blue Mountain 1:30pm - 2:30pm
Awards & Post Race Meal: 2:30pm - 4:30pm

Registration closes at midnight on January 15th, 2020.
Entry fee DOES NOT include HST or online transaction charge.
Entry fee includes park entrance fee, copies of all race maps for each participant, timing chip rental, post-race hot food, and event swag.

AWARDS & PRIZES
Awards will be given to the first place team in all categories and to the top 3 teams in categories with at least 10 entries. We also have lots of draw prizes from our sponsors.
DontGetLost Adventure Running is a not-for-profit organization and the success of
our races relies on the wonderful support we get from our volunteers. We require
15-20 volunteers for each race. There are many benefits to being a DontGetLost
Adventure Running Series volunteer including: having fun, get free race swag,
enjoy the outdoors, learn about the sport (a great way to start), build management
experience, free post-race food, and it counts towards highschool student volunteer
