HAMLOPPET

DECEMBER 21

HAMILTON, ON

2021 RESULTS

Our traditional end of year run, aka the Hamloppet.

A number of checkpoints are scattered throughout the local streets and participants have to visit them in order prescribed. The checkpoints are not the traditional flags but holiday decorations set up by the local residents thus the wording visit as opposed to find. What makes the Hamloppet unique is that runners must guess their own time, i.e. how long time he/she thinks it will take to visit all the checkpoints that he/she planned out. Obviously not watches are allowed! Whoever is closest to their predicted time wins the (virtual) Trophy.
