THE TRILLIUM (T)RACE

In 2022, DontGetLost Adventure Running was the fortunate recipient of a generous grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, which enabled the DontGetLost and Adventure Running Kids to withstand the challenges presented by COVID-19.

In recognition of our gratitude for their support, we are hosting a short, fun, free run in the gorgeous town of Dundas with a cool twist:
How quickly (and accurately) can you draw a trillium using our map and a GPS enabled device?

Join us at Café Domestiique along with Ancaster-West Hamilton-Dundas MPP Sandy Shaw, to celebrate the province’s investment in healthy and vibrant communities. After some brief formal remarks, you will be given a map and instructions from the Race Director. You can then depart the Café either alone or with a teammate or two to “T®ACE your Trillium” around the streets and parks of Dundas.

Once you return, you can compare your drawing with others, and enjoy some of Cafe Domestiique’s post run snacks on us!

Format

Who can draw the best Trillium with their GPS?

Participants will get a map with a number of control point - find the control points in the correct order to draw a trillium with your GPS enabled device.

Total distance will be around 3km.

GPS watch OR device installed with MapRun

Evening Schedule

6:00 to 6:15 p.m: Registration
6:15 p.m: Welcome Remarks and Race Briefing
6:30 - 6:40 pm: Race Start Window
7:30 pm: Race Course Closes, Food is served!
