WINTER WEEKENDER
FEBRUARY 1/2, 2025
With the doldrums of winter setting in, we bring you a new weekend of races to break the monotony of the winter months in the GTA. Introducing the Winter Weekender!​

WHAT IS IT?
Two races over two days! Saturday brings the Icebreaker O-Cup to it's new date and a traditional THOMASS style course and the Snowdrift Sprint on Sunday is a low key, sprint style event with a distance between 3-5km's.

​WAYS TO RACE
Weather dependent (as this is southern Ontario), participants may run or snowshoe their way to the finish (there will, however, not be separate categories for racing choices, first over the line regardless of method, wins). If the weather does not allow for snowshoeing, the event will switch to an exclusively running race.​​​
REGULAR
By January 27 (One race/Both races)
ADULT: $25/$40
JUNIOR or STUDENT: $10/$15
LATE
January 28 - 31 AT NOON (One race/Both races)
ADULT: $30/$50
JUNIOR or STUDENT: $15/$25

SNOWDRIFT SPRINT
FEBRUARY 2

TERRAIN AND COURSE
The course will be a point-to-point sprint map on a golf course.

9:00am Registration opens
10:00 - 10:30 start window
11:30 course closure
Awards to follow shortly after course closure​

NAV FOR NEWBS PARTICIPANTS: Price is included in N4N fee and participants will participate in the event as their week 3 session
NOTES

A Participant's age for this weekend is their age on December 31, 2025.

Participants aged 12 and under must take part with an adult.

A parent accompanying a participating child does not need to register for the race separately

PLEASE NOTE: These races are low key, outdoor only events, please come prepared to be outside from registration to the finish. If any information changes related to location, we will update here and on our social media prior to the event. Also, be aware that as these events are low key, there will not be washroom facilities available, so please come prepared.
